It’s always a unique post for us when we get to showcase a Classic Modern Jewish Wedding in a Synagogue. Even more so when it is a beautiful synagogue like the Reform Temple in Atlanta, named by Newsweek as, “One of the most vibrant and dynamic Jewish congregations in the country.” It’s no wonder the photographer Steffi said,
We love photographing Jewish Weddings…the history, the traditions and all the fun make them just so wonderful.
Eliana and Chad’s wedding was one of our favorite weddings this past year. The Temple in Atlanta, GA is one of the most magical places and with this couple we could not loose. Eliana looked like a movie star and Chad was so handsome. Eliana’s bouquet of orchids and roses was perfect to compliment her incredible gown. Eliana’s gown was absolutely to die for…unbelievably beautiful.
Even though it rained on the day of their wedding we were able to take advantage of the outside of the Temple for some photography.
Eliana and Chad went for an elegant wedding and they sure accomplished that with the choice of this beautiful place it was total elegance for an Atlanta GA, Wedding.
Be sure and notice Chad’s parents carrying candles? That is a classic Jewish Wedding Tradition that we rarely still see. It is likened to symbolically lighting the way to the chuppah (which symbolizes the couple’s home). Jewish tradition often uses light to show joy and celebration, just like the Chanukah lights.
