We’re wrapping up our week of Tu B’Shevat (the Jewish holiday celebrating the New Year for trees, and very good wine) inspired posts with a vintage backyard summer wedding.
What is today’s special Modern Jewish Wedding touch? We’re glad you asked. It’s the Ketubah signing. Done in front of all the guests at this intimate affair, underneath the chuppah.
Speaking of the chuppah. We’re geeking out over the hanging birds that replicate the birds on the ketubah, which match the fans which double as the Jewish wedding programs. Another nice Modern Jewish Wedding touch.
The birds appear again in several different forms as centerpieces at the reception. We love the vintage table numbers, all of which are different and the menu cards are so clever.
In the end, Sonya & Eric are two very happy “Lovebirds!”
P.S. Sonya, we LOVE your dress. Perfect for a sunny summer day wedding.
