Give me sweet backyard, Father of the Bride-style nuptials and I’m one very happy wedding blogger. Case in point? Julia and John’s Jewish wedding day set at the home where Julia spent her childhood. Her family’s wooded backyard was transformed into an autumn wedding oasis complete with a rustic chuppah covered in greens.
Lindsay absolutely radiated in a vintage Oscar de la Renta wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and a fit-and-flare silhouette. She carried an organic-style bouquet featuring showstopping dahlias as a nod to the fall season. Likewise, John was quite the dashing groom in a classic suit paired with his succulent and greenery boutonniere.
Once the vows were exchanged and the glass was smashed, Lindsay and John wowed their guests with an al fresco dining experience continuing their rustic-chic vibe. As the sun set, the dance floor was illuminated with cafe lights strung above and the happy couple shared a special first dance, basking in their newlywed glow.
