Last week we celebrated Tu B’Shevat the Modern Jewish Wedding way with lots of outdoorsy weddings. This week we’ve been all about the 2016 Pantone Spring colors. Here’s a wedding which has both! A July destination wedding in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains with a soft pink, green and gray color palette.
The venue in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains certainly qualifies in our book as a fabulous Modern Jewish Wedding detail. The Lake Lure Inn has been hosting weddings since 1927. Making the most of their venue Brittany & Andrew had a vintage wedding using the ultimate Modern detail–making it their own!
We love all the vintage details. Like their homemade Hot Pepper Jelly as the guest giveaway and the “Key to a Great Marriage” notes from their guests to the wedding couple.
Brittany & Andrew chose to have a private Ketubah signing (with no pictures). Taking the chance to be alone with one another and think about the awesomeness of the day. Following the chuppah ceremony they also did Yihud, again taking the time to be with one another without distractions of their family and friends.
They did the Hora to start the party off on the right foot (pun intended)! And, they did lots more dancing once the sun went down, including more dances where Brittany & Andrew were in the center of the circle.
