Truth be told, the only thing more beautiful than Ilyssa and Mike’s modern Jewish wedding is the love story behind it. These two met back in middle school and as their friendship grew over the years, so did their feelings for one another. When it came time to pop the big question, Mike pulled out all the stops with a waterfront dinner made for two and Ilyssa, of course, replied with a resounding yes.
They held their early spring wedding at Nanina’s in the Park just outside Newark, New Jersey and made sure every inch of their big day was kissed with classic style. Ilyssa carried a bouquet of lush peonies and garden roses while her bridesmaids wore the loveliest shade of dusty rose that was used throughout the wedding design.
The elegant indoor Jewish ceremony included the couple’s vows beneath the chuppah before officially kicking off their party of a lifetime. Their reception space beamed with twinkling chandeliers, sky-high floral centerpieces, and a four-tier cake that was nearly too pretty to eat.
But the best moment of all? Well, it all comes back to Mike and Ilyssa’s love that outshined any wedding detail tenfold.
