Despite the fact that engagement season is usually at the end of the year, I have been saying “Mazel Tov” to lots of people celebrating engagements recently. What a wonderful way to celebrate spring! Never one to sit out a good celebration on the sidelines, I had to get in on the fun.
Everyone in our office is ga-ga over Ashley & Joe’s e-session. The locations, the adorable pup, the bling, the weather, the lighting, NY Pizza and of course all the amazing images captured by Keith of Time Frozen Photography. Keith shared his perspective on these two with us,
When Ashley and Joe were thinking of the best backdrop for their engagement session, it was a no brainer that they chose New York Central Park. It is where they got engaged, where they spend a lot of their time walking their dog or jogging. With the variety of gorgeous backdrops all around the park, it was the perfect location to document the beginnings for these two lovebirds. We were concerned that given it was the month of December, the weather would be uncooperative; however, we are glad that luck was on our side! The sun and beautiful haze, created the magical and romantic look they desired. Ashley & Joe brought their dog along which made it all more special. We later made a few stops along the way at Grand Central Station and the New York Public Library. They topped the night with a few images taken on the ride back home on the subway, which is also special to them – their main mode of transportation!”
Did you catch the glimpse of the Chanukkah Menorah in the window of their apartment? We spot a Modern Jewish Home in the making!
We can’t wait to see the Modern Jewish Wedding photos.
P.S. You didn’t ask, but, YES! hire the same photographer for your engagement photos and your wedding, even if that requires some travel. Thinking of not even having an engagement session? Think again!
