OMG, it’s another Monday! The weekend went by in a flash and getting up today and heading back to work was a challenge. Then this chic MJW was in our queue to be published and the day was instantly brightened–with lots of color. Pull up your chair and your coffee ladies for this fabulously Chic Modern Jewish Wedding.
When we say fabulously–we mean fabulously. For starters it is the Chicago hip spot of Carnivale Restaurant. Rachel & Christopher embraced their venue and used deep, dark colors, neon and circles in their wedding decor; including their chuppah cover. Chic is truly the word we would use to describe it.
Plus, the photos were taken by my fabulous Engage!14 roomie, Rebecca Marie. Who had this to say about her experience shooting a Modern Jewish Wedding,
On a chilly November evening, surrounded by those that mean the most to them and the amazing colors of Carnivale, Rachel & Chris proclaimed out loud the love they’ve already had for decades. Chris made everyone cry with his heartfelt vows and Rachel made everyone continue to cry (from laughter) with her humor. But before all of that, there was a morning filled with the details of getting ready, anticipation and the most romantic on-going surprise I’ve ever witnessed…”
We’re pretty sure you’ll be able to guess what the surprise is. We agree it is a chic twist on a tradition, the essence of “Modern Jewish Wedding!”
