The two were married on a summer Saturday for their Elegant Russian Jewish Wedding at a venue located about 40 minutes outside of Manhattan. The Grove is famous for its opulence and culinary achievements. It’s golden dome entry complemented the pink and gold color palette Viktoriya chose perfectly.
Viktoiya stunned in her Madeline Gardner gown with silver beading complemented with her silver blinged out Jimmy Choo’s. And, her shoes were not the only place there was bling to be had. Her bridal bouquet had additions of bling in the flowers creating a beautiful sparkling effect. The gold linens and chivari chairs added to the elegance of the evening.
We can tell how much fun the guests had dancing the hora and the prolonged mizinka. The mizinka is the traditional dance done for parents at a Jewish wedding when either the bride or groom are the last of the children to marry. The parents of the bride or groom sit together, while family and friends form a circle and dance around them to the tune of an upbeat Klezmer melody, “Di Mizinke Oysgegebn, The Youngest Daughter is Given Away.” In this case both Viktoriya & Oleg were the last children to marry.
We know it is a minor detail, but, since in Jewish tradition the wedding couple are to be treated like royalty for the day, we have to point out the chairs Viktoriya & Oleg sit in at their sweetheart table. Perfect for the elegant wedding reception.
