Happy National Ice Cream Sandwich Day!

I’m Jewish, so, calling Amy Atlas a goddess seems sacrilegious, but, she is well … inspirational!  On her blog today, she reminded us all of National Ice Cream Sandwich Day.  Loyal MJW readers know we love our national food day celebrations--especially those including ice cream.  (After all it is August and HOT!)

The best part of researching the National Food Days is showing you how you can incorporate these designs into your own Modern Jewish Wedding (& in this case what fun at a Modern Jewish Mitzvah?)!

The best ice cream sandwich? That’s easy. Any ice cream sandwich from Diddy Riese in Westwood (near UCLA campus). For $1.50 you choose two (large) fresh-baked cookies and the type of ice cream inside. Lots of options for the cookies and ice cream. Best ever.
