Today’s #WeddingWednesday feature is a classic, intimate and traditional Modern Jewish Wedding. Just look at the pictures and you see a tallit covering the chuppah, private moments (caught on camera) for Yihud and a blessing over the challah to start the festivities.
How cool is it to have a Classic Modern Jewish Wedding in the 8th oldest building in the United States? That’s right the 8th oldest building in the entire US is in Madison, WI and Kimberly & Daniel were married there. After the ceremony the reception was held at the Wisconsin Union on the campus of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, which was built in 1928.
Although the couple made traditional choices in their venues and ceremony they made very modern choices too. Kimberly’s bridesmaids wore mis-matched blue dresses and Kimberly chose not to wear a veil. Another unique choice for this couple, was to have their parents seated in the front row.
We love that Kimberly’s smile is radiant throughout the entire day and the two clearly enjoyed their private photo time as much as anything all day.
