Yesterday, was Purim and we can’t think of a wedding more appropriate to celebrate on Purim than one held in a bumper car pavilion!
Yes, you read that correctly. Rosie & Rachel got married in the bumper car pavilion at Glen Echo Park. While everyone went to take a carousel ride after the ceremony, the pavilion was set up for the reception.
They incorporated tons of DIY projects – all of the decorations, photobooth, polling place for their new last name, etc.
Their first dance was to the song Firework by Katy Perry because they got engaged while watching fireworks at night.
They LOVE color, and their bridesmaids were dressed in every color of the rainbow. The brides both wore wedding dresses with pink and green shoes.
According to eKate Photography, “EVERYONE had a blast at the wedding. I think it is impossible not to have fun around Rosie & Rachel!”
They both stomped on a glass & crossed their legs while doing–each stepping on the other’s glass. Awesome detail you can duplicate in your Modern Jewish Wedding
