When you think of music in Colorado, bluegrass is the first style that jumps to mind. So when Kim & Matt decided to host their wedding at Planet Bluegrass, we knew it was going to be a good time. Using the Pantone Color of 2017–Greenery, along with yellow & gray guests were treated to rustic and trendy in the great outdoors.
Rustic details included the table signs made from vintage postcards of Colorado places the couple enjoys and the escort cards held in wine corks. Of course, there were S’mores out by the fire pit too. Modern Jewish details included the couple’s wedding program, “A Wedding With Attitude” (We LOVE!) And the couple’s use of a modern translation of the Shevra Brachot/Seven Blessings. The Chuppah was vibrant, capturing the couple’s personality with sunflowers, natural birch wood and even a wine barrel. We can’t forget the couple’s choice of Ketubah showcasing a sunrise over the mountains. We recognized it right away as a one of a kind by MJW vendor Papercuts by Oren.
With the whole day planned out by Little Details, incorporating the bride and groom’s personality into every little detail (pun intended), not a thing was out of place. The couple’s beloved dogs served as part of the bridal party (despite a dip in the river earlier in the day….hey, it’s hot in these tuxes!).
We were told by Photographer Jesse,
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of life, Kim & Matt’s wedding was a dream escape from the ordinary!”
