Monday Morning Inspiration: Happy National Waffle Week

We’re celebrating the Carbs.

It’s not just because we’ve been dipping challah into honey all weekend (to wish everyone a Happy & Sweet New Year).

September is National Biscuit Month & the second week is National Waffle Week–so, we thought we’d get in on the fun.

Are you looking for an alternative to the standard candy bar?  Or something other than milk & cookies to serve your guests at midnight?

These two breakfast foods make for fun choices.

See what we mean?

Are you looking to infuse your Modern Jewish Wedding with an interactive bar?

We went food station crazy at my wedding with four different bars.

A popcorn and smashed potato bar (sans bacon bits) during the cocktail hour

And instead of cake, we served mini-pies and a full scale candy bar.

Here are a few others you might not have considered.

Here in Texas we love our margarita bars (or make them slushies).

Surprising Food Bars

At Mirah’s Bat Mitzvah last year we did a grill cheese station.

We also did a burger bar, macaroni and cheese bar and salad bar.

Would you do a fun and different food station at your wedding?  Do you have ideas we didn’t list here?
