Every detail of this intimate wedding came together in sheer perfection.
A Sunday late afternoon wedding followed by an elegant meal created the perfect ambiance for this Modern Jewish Wedding.
Andres of Andres Valenzuela Photography captured every detailed look of Alexa & Scott–who cried, laughed and wore expressive smiles throughout (clearly not sweating the details). He wrote, “I’m honored to share with you the wedding of Alexa and Scott at the always elegant and intimate Bernards Inn. From their touching first look moments to the beautiful jewish ceremony and to the very personal and elegant dinner they shared with their family and closest friends. Everything was just so personal, intimate and it just displayed the way they treasure their love. It was an honor to be there and to be able to document this moment in their lives.
The Modern Jewish Wedding Details
A tree motif that starts with the couple’s invitation (we’re big fans of the wording too) and continues with the couple’s initials carved in a heart throughout the reception. The Bernard’s Inn venue lent itself to the theme with the Silver Vault & Wine Pantry featuring wooden beams, tables and chairs. The chuppah poles were even made of natural wood.
The ketubah signing was kept even more intimate than the wedding by having just Alexa & Scott in the room for the signing. They each chose just one attendant for the wedding party–making it a huge honor to stand with them under the chuppah.
Another Modern Jewish Wedding detail which worked for Alexa keeping it an adult’s only affair. Her adorable niece’s got to visit just before their bedtime.
Intimate doesn’t mean short on trends. The naked cake, which looks like tree bark and fit right into the theme is also one of the hottest trends for 2014 weddings.
But, their isn’t a better Modern Jewish detail than the bride’s eyes. Her gazes to Scott are so emotion felt. They bring tears to our eyes.
