A Chicago New Year’s Eve Modern Jewish Wedding

The Modern Jewish Wedding Details

There is no better way to kick off a fabulous 2017 than with a fabulous New Year’s Eve Modern Jewish Wedding!

The wedding took place on New Years Eve at Venue SIX10– which is located within the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership.  VenueSIX10 was selected a “Best Event Space 2015” by Crain’s Chicago Business.  It’s panoramic views of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan, the environmentally sustainable building and its partnership with an institute of Jewish learning create a perfect Modern Jewish Wedding venue.

Because the couple wanted to brave the snow and cold to get some outdoor photos Samantha made sure her bridal party had beautiful pashminas and wraps to wear.  They also all had some fun trekking around to locations with festive seasonal decor still up.  We’re sure Modern Jewish Wedding friend event planner extraordinaire, Ali Phillips had something to do with that must-have idea.

We love Samantha’s something blue…a blue rabbit’s foot for good luck.

The formal white and black with some gold sparkle creates the festive vibe necessary for a party to end one year and start another.  We especially like the gold glitter table numbers.  Every table on New Year’s Eve deserves some glitz.
