A friend introduced Aaron to Janelle at a bar in Scottsdale, where he was attending graduate school. She said hello, but the conversation was short-lived as she went on to socialize with others.
Aaron spotted Janelle for the second time at a tailgate party. He introduced himself again as though they’d never met, and this time the conversation flowed. It wasn’t until they’d been dating for several months that he admitted she blew him off the first time! Luckily for these lovebirds those first conversations led to more dates, a long-distance relationship as both got their MBAs, and in time, a heartfelt proposal.
Aaron proposed to Janelle in Rocky Point, Mexico, one of their favorite vacation spots to visit as a couple. This time the whole family came along, and Friday at sunset Aaron gathered everyone around and gave his speech. Janelle said, “To be honest, I cannot remember anything he said because I was crying the entire time! I’m sure it was beautiful!”
After Aaron took a job in San Antonio, the couple decided to shoot their engagement photos there and enlisted the help of photographer Laura Elizabeth. The Pearl Brewery provided the perfect mix of outdoor greenery and city sidewalks to stroll along with their irresistibly cute rescue puppy, Chance. Stay tuned for their (equally lovable) wedding photos, coming soon!
