It’s always fun when we get to feature a wedding submitted by one of our many industry friends from Engage!, my favorite wedding conference. Today is no exception–especially, because this chuppah is so amazing we needed lots of great pictures to be able to showcase its beauty.
The bride, Julie, is the owner of Jaybird Quilts and the creator of the Hex N More ruler. She has a huge social media following. She wanted her wedding to reflect not only her Jewish heritage and traditions, but also, her love of quilting.
She created a wedding quilt to use as the chuppah & as the central decor at the wedding. Each block was made by a family member or one of her social media followers.
The couple even included a little nod to their personal history with personalized M & M’s. Lawrence used personal M & M’s in Julie’s favorite color, orange, when he proposed to her on their trip to Maui.
