Meghan and Dave, who reside in New York, chose to have an intimate ceremony in Connecticut. The two consider themselves a fun lovin’ couple and wanted to have their summer affair at the chic Waterview.
The Waterview boasts an, “Idyllic location in rural Fairfield County, Connecticut.” The venue is located on the quiet shores of Lake Zoar in Monroe, CT. They specialize in Kosher style events but, are able to handle fully glatt supervised Kosher catering. With 13 secluded areas showcasing the forest and lake Meghan and Dave, who call themselves a “fun lovin’ couple” were able to find lots of places for fabulous wedding photos.
Meghan who converted to Judaism prior to the couple’s ceremony embraced all the Jewish wedding traditions. At the Ketubah signing she said,
It may take awhile I’m getting used to signing in the new language.”
Meghan also chose to do the Hakafah, for parts of the ceremony she wore a gorgeous tallit reminiscent of Jacob’s Coat of Many Colors. Dave smashed the glass and of course the two embraced the “Horror of the Hora!”
