What are the chances that two Texans would find each other and fall in love in the Big Apple? New York City played the backdrop for their coincidental meeting in the Upper West Side. A first date quickly succeeded the exchange of phone numbers and the rest is history.
When planning their Texas wedding, they wanted to incorporate the natural beauty of Austin without getting too trendy with rustic or boho accents. Aiming for a timeless feel, they chose to pair succulents and wildflowers for a beautiful display that made guests feel like they were escaping the everyday hustle and entering a romantic garden.
For Lauren, the spectacular floral arrangements and the vintage lounge areas in the reception space were favorites of their wedding day details. However, the beauty of their wedding cannot transcend the overwhelming emotion felt during the couple’s first look.
Sharing this moment was extremely special for both of us and made the rest of the day a more relaxing experience,” the bride shared.
Throughout the planning process, they learned a thing or two about including everyone in the journey.
Both of us think it’s important to go into a wedding knowing what is important to all of the people involved in the planning process,” they explained. “If your family is helping to plan or have specific opinions, it will help to put all expectations out on the table first instead of being surprised by anything later in the planning process.” With that said, “What made the wedding day the most eventful and wonderful was how excited each and every family member was to be at the wedding and feel the love we have for each other.”
