Purim Party Leads to San Francisco Elegant Modern Jewish Wedding
The Modern Jewish Wedding Details
The Westin St. Francis, is one of the most iconic landmark hotels in San Francisco which is the venue for the Elegant Modern Jewish Wedding of Allison & Mark. The first look and Ceremony took place at on the 32nd floor with incredible views of the city. The day was packed full of love and laughter.
Mark, from Omaha, Nebraska, was relatively new to San Francisco and made it a mission to attend every single Jewish event in 2013! Allison, from the Bay Area, hadn’t attended an event in years. She reluctantly agreed to go to the Purim party after a good friend dragged her out. Rumor has it that Mark saw Allison from across the room and thought, “Whoa! I have to talk to that girl!!”
However, after the first couple of dates, Allison decided they would probably be better off as friends. Mark played it cool, but was determined to change her mind. For several weeks, Mark showed up almost every day at Allison’s office bearing gifts, including (but not limited to) coffee, kettle corn and some interesting jewelry. He took her to California Pizza Kitchen (Allison’s favorite restaurant). He even got Allison to attend several Jewish events with him.
One day, Allison brought Mark to visit Grandma Sandy. He was, not surprisingly, a BIG hit with Grandma. Immediately after the visit, Allison’s grandma called her up gushing about Mark and told her,
“You will never do better than him!”
She was absolutely right! Mark proposed to Allison on February 14, 2015 while on a trip to Los Angeles. They were married this past March. They both feel as if the best is yet to come!
Our favorite Modern Jewish Wedding Detail? Aside from the tux clad dog? Allison’s bridal bouquet. Be sure to look at the tint on the all white bouquet. A truly original look which we love.
