There are so many details to love about this New Orleans winter wedding, by my personal favorite? The chuppah – no question. Draped in the most elegant fabric with bundles of white hydrangeas adorning each side, it’s a swoon-worthy design moment that served as the setting of Rachel and Brad’s “I dos.”
Leading up to the big ceremony, the couple spent the morning capturing their love with Elizabeth Burris Photography behind the lens at the English Turn Golf and Country Club in New Orleans. Their December wedding date meant the property was dressed up in holiday decor adding subtle hints of red to their neutral-toned color palette.
Rachel fully embraced the look of a classic bride wearing a strapless gown with a pair of pearls any Southern bride would adore while her bridesmaids wore a beautiful taupe shade in illusion neckline dresses.
Once the vows had been said and the glass had been broken, Rachel and Brad led their guests to a ballroom reception that continued the timeless design of their special day. The celebration ended with the couple being lifted through the air for the hora, basking in the glow of their newlywed bliss.
