Birkat HaMazon

At Jewish weddings, it is a custom to give thanks for the food, sustenance and company that has been enjoyed. This is followed immediately by a second recitation of the Shevra Brachot repeating the same blessings that were recited under the chuppah.  There are two cups of wine involved in the formal Birkat HaMazon. The Birkat HaMazon leaders holds the first cup of wine. After the prayer, has concluded, a second cup is passed around for the community. Once the seven blessings are completed, the cups of wine are blended together for the bride and groom to drink.
