Kippot

The kippot is used to cover one’s head which is seen as a sign of respect. If the wedding couple has chosen to provide kippot for the guests men should wear one. They are optional for women (except in very traditional/Orthodox weddings where women will be provided with a woman’s head covering). Usually, the wedding couple will order special kippot in the color palette of the wedding and have them personalized for the occasion. They are a nice keepsake of the wedding.
