thanksgiving modern jewish wedding

My anniversary marks the unofficial launch of The Modern Jewish Wedding.  The official launch came a few months later.  And, as Mr. MJW and I prepare for our 6th wedding anniversary this Sunday I wanted to take a moment to thank him for his ever enduring support of me and this little blog and book project by sharing my all time favorite Modern Jewish Wedding–my own! The Modern Jewish Wedding Details I’d like to think…

A Once in A Lifetime Opportunity to Celebrate That’s because Chanukkah and Thanksgiving won’t overlap for another 70K years.  The last time it happened was in the 1800’s.  So, we Modern Jewish Peeps are celebratin’ with traditional food from two holidays.  Yippee! • Erin and Daniel had a beautiful, intimate wedding at the elegant Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Austin. It was a beautiful spring day for a simple, laid back ceremony on the back lawn and a low-key dinner reception followed afterward indoors.
Erin didn’t want the spotlight to be on herself too much; she and Daniel were both keen to spend as much time as possible with their families and friends. Becky with Brock and Co Events did an outstanding job executing a flawless event.
