backyard modern jewish wedding

Memorial day weekend mentally marks the start of summer! The end of school, swimming, summer camp, vacations, fireworks and the lazy, hazy days of summer loom ahead of us with expectancy.  Usually, a wedding being officiated by a Jewish clergy has signaled the start of wedding season.  (A weekend with a Monday off is always a blessing for a couple who wants a Sunday wedding with a reception that goes all night!) What better way…

The Modern Jewish Passover Details Spring has definitely sprung~I can tell because I’m sniffling and relying on my FloNase twice a day.  That means it is time for the annual Spring festival of Passover.  Did you know that Passover is THE most celebrated Jewish holiday of the entire year? More so, then either of the High Holidays or Chanukah. I personally think it is because every Jewish child has a memory (or two) of Passover…

However you spell it here are our 8 Tips to have “8 Crazy Nights!” Bring on the Latkes & Vodkas (and don’t forget the doughnuts)! • Erin and Daniel had a beautiful, intimate wedding at the elegant Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Austin. It was a beautiful spring day for a simple, laid back ceremony on the back lawn and a low-key dinner reception followed afterward indoors.
-
Erin didn’t want the spotlight to be on herself too much; she and Daniel were both keen to spend as much time as possible with their families and friends. Becky with Brock and Co Events did an outstanding job executing a flawless event.
